The Gatekeeper of Sleepy Hollow

According to local lore, when the Headless Horseman first tormented Sleepy Hollow, the Gatekeeper opened the doors of the Gatehouse to shelter village children.

Ever the protector, the Gatekeeper wards of evil spirits and mischief makers. He still roams the village streets at night—lantern in hand, towering bones rattling, his faithful canine companion close behind—listening for the sound of hooves.
